BOOTS PHARMACISTS EVERYWHERE ACTIVATION

The Brief

Boots Pharmacists are everywhere - but not everyone knows it. With over 1,000 Boots stores across the UK, most open evenings and weekends with no appointment needed, the challenge was simple: make people feel it, not just hear it.

 

The Activation

We took the Boots Pharmacist off the high street and dropped them somewhere you'd never expect. Three locations, three very different audiences, one consistent message: you're never too far from a Pharmacist.

In London, we set up the pop-up at Seven Dials on Valentine's Day - a moment perfectly timed to encourage people to show their heart some love with a free 15-minute Health MOT, including an NHS Blood Pressure Check. With 1 in 4 people living with undiagnosed high blood pressure, the prompt to get checked landed with real urgency in one of London's busiest pedestrian destinations.

In Manchester, the pop-up went trackside at Heaton Park's parkrun - meeting health-conscious Mancunians mid-stride and reinforcing that expert pharmacy advice fits into an active lifestyle.

In Birmingham, we took it even further from the expected - placing the pop-up at a car boot fair, where the last thing anyone was looking for was a pharmacist, and that was entirely the point.

Each location was dressed in Boots' signature navy and sky blue, with the brand's bold exterior messaging - "You're never too far from a Pharmacist" - doing the heavy lifting at street level.

 

The Result

A high-visibility, earned-media-generating campaign that brought free expert healthcare to thousands of people across three cities, in the places they actually spend their weekends — not just where they shop.
