The Challenge
What started as a whimsical concept for a private Alice in Wonderland-themed party grew into a unique artisan gin brand. The challenge was to transform our creative idea for a naturally colour-changing gin into a small-batch product that could stand out in a competitive market, and then elevate it through a bold collaboration with pop icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
The Idea
Our vision was to blend flavour, design and creativity into a limited-edition gin and cocktail collection. By combining Sophie’s bold personality with Pink Marmalade’s signature flair, we created a brand experience that celebrated music, style and innovation.
The Experience

Naturally Colour-Changing Gin: Infused with butterfly pea flower, transforming from blue to pink when mixed with tonic.

Bespoke Limited Edition: Collaboration with Sophie Ellis-Bextor resulted in a unique bottle design and signature cocktails.

Creative Cocktails: “Murder on the Dancefloor” (cranberry & agave martini with lavender garnish) and “Crying at the Discotheque” (lychee, lime & mint martini).

Pandemic Pivot: During COVID-19, Pink Marmalade Gin became a lifeline for our team, showcasing adaptability and creativity.

Industry Support: A portion of profits was donated to the WeMakeEvents campaign to support the events industry.
The Results
The collaboration delivered a limited-edition product that went beyond gin – it became a brand experience. By merging design, storytelling and partnership, we crafted a one-of-a-kind collaboration that captured Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s style while supporting a vital cause.
